Rennie - Created a blueish tint to originally the purple liquid.

2. Berocca - Turned the purple bright orange which was my favourite experiment

3. Cleaning product - Didn't make much difference to the solution, turned slightly green

4. Hand Sanitiser - Didn't make any difference to the solution

5. Bi carbonate of soda - Created a nice green blue effect

6. Bleach- Made no noticeable difference

I really enjoyed using the time lapse app on the phone we were introduced to, i will defiantly us this again in the future.

I tested using these dyes on tissue paper, printing paper and wrapping paper, all created a varied effect, my favourite was the tissue paper as it seeped through, and not consistent it never stayed the same and it seamed to disrupt the whole process itself .

I used layering alternating papers inside a cardboard box to create movement and depth to the videos, i enjoy the continuous movement and the uneasy feeling that comes when watching the videos through the changing of light and shade. I also loved the way the tissue when wet was weighing down the rest of the paper.

I left in the chunks of the raw original material (the cabbage) to display the development. I think the evidence of process is important for my practice to display the skeleton of a painting and its origins.

I left the paintings to dry on an uneven and rigid surface- to distort the work and allow the paint to travel more freely, i also added objects on top such as mugs and plates to create imprinting, texture and disarray
